The local chapter of the American Institute of Architects has selected winners for its 2021 Design Awards.
The 16 winning firms, honored for architectural excellence, are all based in Nashville, but their projects didn’t have to be local to qualify for consideration. Honorees fall within three categories: “honor” awards (the highest award), “merit” awards and “citation” awards.
Additionally, viewers can vote for their favorite project until Jan. 17. The crowd’s selection will win the People’s Choice Award.

The American Institute of Architects, founded in 1857, is one of the oldest and most respected professional cohorts in the U.S. The organization’s Middle Tennessee chapter comprises more than 850 architects across 35 counties.
