The Metropolitan Historical Commission has awarded 1700 Fatherland Street with a Preservation Award during their 46th Annual Presentation Award ceremony. We are honored to have received the only award in the Commercial category on our adaptive reuse project.
The church was built in 1908, but unfortunately a fire in the 1950s caused damage to the historic bell tower. In addition to rebuilding the bell tower, windows and exterior materials were replaced to match the historic elements. Now serving as an office, the structure has entered into its next chapter.
