A new mixed-use development plan on church property in Mt. Juliet includes 275 apartments along with office, retail and restaurant buildings.
Village at Pleasant Grove is the name of the development plan on Pleasant Grove Road near The Paddocks at Mt. Juliet. The plan was given a positive recommendation by Mt. Juliet planning commissioners Thursday. The city commission must now sign off.
The Church at Pleasant Grove Road owns 27 acres that includes the property the mixed-use development is proposed. The church would sell about 21 acres for the development to Imagine1 Company for Village at Pleasant Grove if approvals are gained.
