The Middle Tennessee Christian School (MTCS) Early Learning Center (ELC) is part of the second phase of a campus-wide masterplan, in which the existing ELC program will be brought onto campus, connecting MTCS students of all ages in one location. This center, an addition to the elementary wing, is centralized around a large enrichment space with learning zones that mirror on either side. Four classrooms each circle a den intended for specialized small-group learning. A performance platform in the enrichment space continues outside to the playground, blending indoor and outdoor activities.
Eight classrooms comprised of two, four-classroom pods, each circling a common den intended for specialized small-group learning. An enrichment room that serves as a central gathering space with a performance platform spills through a wall of glazing to connect outside to the playground, blending indoor and outdoor activities.
